We are interested how it works, how it reacts, how it behaves under different conditions. We are investigating how the 52 bones and 56 joints of the foot set you in motion.

We do not only travel around the world in search of the best materials. When we find the right materials we test them in many ways. When designing shoes, we use different kinds of materials and we do not rely on chance. We place particular emphasis on manufacturing leather on our own so that it is of the best quality. ECCO has its own tanneries, which gives us full control over the quality of all products.
